Yaffa is an individual whose compassionate intuitive nature allows her to see the beauty and divine in all. She dedicates her life to sharing healing music, transformational touch and sacred ceremony with others. Embracing the dance and breath of life, she weaves sacred ritual which illuminates ones ability to awaken self love and liberation.
My heart-opening work has been developed from 25 years experience in personal growth, holistic wellness, shamanic studies and sacred ceremony. Blending my education and years of expertise in hypnotherapy, massage, breathwork, movement, music, yoga, dance, and workshop facilitation – I craft transformational experiences for individuals and groups.
Born and raised in Chicago, I moved West at 22. My hypnotherapy certification was received from Heartwood Institute, Garberville, CA and Massage LMT at The Desert Institute of the Healing Arts, Tucson AZ. My journey into Shamanic Studies began while at Humboldt State University and continued with Stephanie Dancing Eagle, my private mentor. I am humbly inspired by my spiritual teacher Ammachi and her message of love and selfless service. My background in yoga includes Hatha, Kundalini and Anusara. I compiled and published the “We Are A CIrcle” songbook and appear on the “Rainbow Spirit” video.
Replenishing my spirit with annual pilgrimages, I hike majestic Mt. Shasta and swim with whales in the crystal blue of Maui. My passions are world travel, dance and herbal studies.
I honor my ancestors and family for the deeply rooted values and love they have imprinted in my life. I extend this tradition as a loving mother of three wonderful children and 5 amazing grandchildren.
